Carolina, originally a land grant by two King Charles (I and II) to some favorite courtiers, was subsequently divided into North and South for administrative purposes in 1711. We are still ONE community, divided into TWO political states and composed of THREE geographical regions. Climatically a near paradise, our summer visitors come here to cool off ; our winter visitors to warm up. Carolina: live life like life is meant to be.
